Sheila Robertson
Sheila graduated from the Glasgow School of Art, where she studied drawing and painting. She lives near Kinlochbervie in the Highlands, where the inspiration for much of her work comes.

Her dramatic style often uses bold colours and patterns, describing a vibrant landscape, rich in symbols. Her body of work also includes still life and portraiture, and she has recently made a return to drawing. She cites influences including Rothko, Munch, Vuillare, Gillies and Fedden.

Sheila has exhibited work throughout Scotland, in solo and mixed shows. As well as painting, she teaches art to schoolchildren in the Highlands.
